I was looking through past blog posts, noticing the content - or lack thereof - and wondering why exactly I have a blog on here anyway?

And then I remembered - to keep my audience (?) up-to-date on what’s happening at ByteKraft ITD.  I recently put up a FaceBook ad with the caption “We Build IntelliWebsites.”  The IntelliWebsite campaign basically says this: Get more out of your website!  Apart from being a marketing tool, the aspect of functionality has become increasingly important.  Modern websites are being fitted with robust ecommerce and data management systems that help businesses run more smoothly and efficiently.

So look beyond the eye-candy graphics and cool animations of what you have now.  Your website could actually become an extension of your business online!

My boss dropped 8 pounds in one week!  Apparently, he achieved this by giving up the KFC lunches for fruit packs and carrot sticks.  Quite remarkable…and very true!

As computer techs and developers, we expose ourselves to ALOT of health risks.  Those long hours we spend sitting at our desks…the quick bites and fast food we eat on the go, so we can ‘get back to work quickly’…are surely cutting our ‘working years’ very short!

Exercise and good food are so important for us.  I prefer to walk and take the metro to work, and fit some sort of sport into my weekend schedule.  W-A-T-E-R!!!  No sodas, no fake fruit drinks…avoid energy drinks (I havent given those up yet)…the list goes on and on.

I’ve also come to realize that non-tech-stuff - like reading, music, e.t.c. - are SOOOO important.  I mean, there’s gotta be a part of me that stays very ‘human’…y’know.

I was so excited to get my Blackberry Wordpress App…but I can’t modify my blog from it! I keep getting a “You cannot Manage Post!” error.

Someone please help me out.  I have a Blackberry 8830 World Edition…and I’m clueless

It’s 5:29am and I haven’t slept.   Been up all night, working on web stuff, trying to catch up on work, learn new development tips & tricks, and check out what’s new on the web.

Yesterday, my boss (who’s more of a designer himself) made a very…um…’noteworthy’ comment while checking out a new PayPal feature.  The guys working on the API are doing a great job, moving in leaps and bounds towards making PayPal extremely easy to integrate.

“Very soon,” my boss commented, “I won’t need you anymore!” Then he chuckled and said “Just kidding!”

Very funny…but imagine this: one day, easy-to-customize opensource webapps proliferate the web, so much that the world won’t need ‘people like us’ anymore!

It’s 5:43 in the morning, and I haven’t slept.

I’ve overhauled the website, adding/editing new/existing content, and integrating a new contact form. There is also new module for the Multimedia Design gallery in the Portfolio section.

Following my last post, ByteKraft ITD’s structure has been modified to accomodate the new direction we’ll be taking henceforth.  The website has also been modified to reflect this change.

Covenant Child (CC) Concepts will be carved out of ByteKraft ITD, to take care of graphics/multimedia design stuff.  Please be on the lookout for its own website very soon!

ByteKraft ITD will concentrate on web development - web application prototyping, eCommerce development, and so forth.

ALSO, watch out for a new (potentially lucrative) referral Program we’ll be putting up.  Wanna earn some cool money?  Help us create a marketing team by getting clients for us!  More details on that coming soon.

2009 has ushered in a new phase in the structure and operations of ByteKraft ITD.  New parternerships are being forged and new services will be offered this year, as we broaden the scope of this IT Development initiative.

I will be redesigning this site to be more reflective of this new structure.  Stay tuned!
